Burgess Hill

Burgess Hill has been a Fairtrade town since 2006

Let’s keep it that way

Burgess Hill became a Fairtrade town in 2006 following a two year campaign by local residents with support from Burgess Hill Town Council. It is part of the Fairtrade Foundation’s town campaign network helping to raise awareness of Fairtrade products and they way that buying them makes a real difference to farmers and their families in developing communities. When you buy products with the Fairtrade mark (see below) you know that the producer is guaranteed a fair price for their product and earns a Fairtrade premium which is invested back into their community providing valuable resources we take for granted.
