Lindfield has been a Fairtrade Village since 2018. Fairtrade Lindfield maintains this status by raising local awareness of Fairtrade-labelled products, encouraging local retailers, cafes, schools and businesses to sell and stock these items. The Fairtrade movement is promoted through community events such as running a stall at the annual Village Day and organising workshops at local schools. Fairtrade Lindfield has the support of Lindfield Parish Council. All Saints Lindfield, the parish church in Lindfield, is a Fairtrade Church.
